The Trust Board are seeking your views on the special Massey 35 tractor which was ordered by Sir James
Horlick for use in Achamore Gardens. It has vineyard wheels to negotiate the paths in the gardens. It came
direct from the manufacturer to the gardens and has only left Gigha once, in the early 1990's, when it went for
repair to Hamilton Brothers. It was used for delivering logs, fixing potholes etc. In recent years the tractor has
been stripped back and repainted but is currently not in a proper working condition and is sitting under a tarpaulin at Achamore Gardens.

We would love to hear your views concerning this Gigha Heritage artefact - please take part in this member poll. The Board will consider your opinions when deciding what to do with the tractor.

Don't really feel qualified to answer, but repairing it for rides sounds like a lot of fun!
