SSEN are carrying out infrastructure works north of Campbeltown between 11th and 29th May.
SSEN have asked for each of the wind turbine sites to be constrained to 100kW each from 11th (8 am) until 14th May (5 pm); and from 18th (8 am) to 29th May (5pm). The completion date may be earlier depending on how the works go. Instead of 100kW per site, the E33 is constrained to 200kW and all 3 V27s are switched off for the duration of the constraint, as running the E33 is more lucrative. Enercon have been informed.
Both sites can be on full capacity between 14th (5pm) and 18th (7.59 am) while other works are carried out. SSEN will confirm this is the case nearer the time.
Unfortunately, SSEN do not offer any compensation for the downtime as the works are permitted in the agreement with them.
David Reid has confirmed that there shouldn’t be any issues with the V27s being switched off for this long.
